01 Waters & spots
Know exactly where you fished.
A good logbook starts with the water. Create a water by GPS, the map or manually, and store the places that matter to you.
- Register spots and baited areas on the map.
- Add photos, coordinates and personal notes.
- Link imported depth files to the right water.
On your next visit you do not start from scratch: you can see where you sat and what you recorded before.
02 Session & bait logging
Your approach deserves a place too.
Your catch is the outcome. But how did you get there? In CarpAtlas you keep the choices you make during a session.
- Reuse rods, rigs, bait and setup from a previous session.
- Log baiting moments, quantities and bait type in a baiting campaign.
- Track spot changes and extra baiting in the session timeline.
- A multi-day session keeps running until you end it yourself.
While fishing, you mostly record changes. That way you stay focused on fishing, not administration.
03 Catch logging
Not only the fish. The whole story.
A weight and a photo are nice for later. Add the conditions and a catch becomes truly useful.
- Store species, weight, length, time and the rod you used.
- Keep rig, bait, setup, baited spot and relevant conditions.
- For a snowman rig you can log both boilies separately.
- Browse your photo album by water, year or month.
That makes it easy to find a successful combination from previous sessions without searching through loose photos and notes.

Turn your logbook into your advantage.
See how conditions and your own choices relate to results. Not based on assumptions, but on the data you recorded yourself.
- Filter insights by water and period.
- Compare time, temperature, bottom type and bait combinations among others.
- See the numbers behind a pattern, so you know how much data supports it.
With fewer than five sessions or five catches, CarpAtlas does not yet show a full analysis. It remains a helpful tool, not a guarantee of catches.

05 Sharing & privacy
Share with a fishing friend. Not with the whole world.
CarpAtlas is your personal logbook. You decide whether to share a water with fishing friends and which parts they are allowed to see.
- Share with up to eight invited fishing friends per water.
- Choose sessions, catches, spots and photos separately.
- Exact locations are only shared if you decide so.
- Recipients can view shared data, not edit it.
Your logbook is stored locally and can sync through your own iCloud. Sharing is optional.
